Mumbai Rainfall: Mumbai has witnessed heavy rainfall in last 2 days and this rainfall will continue as per the prediction of Indian Meteorological Department. Videos and photos are getting viral on whatsapp and facebook, where waterlogging can be seen from different parts of Mumbai.

Heavy rains lashed several parts of Mumbai and its adjoining areas – Thane and Vasai-Virar belt today. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the next 48 hours in Mumbai and adjoining areas. It has been raining in Mumbai for the past few hours. A high tide, with maximum height of 5.02 metres, is expected at 6 pm

Due to heavy rainfall, waterlogging was reported in many areas of Mumbai, Thane, Vasai-Virar and also at Kalwa and Mumbra stations.

It is better to stay away from sea. In fact it is safer for mumbaikars to stay home.
